Hi all, I just took posession of my mom's old '01 Pathfinder SE as a graduation gift from university, and I couldn't be happier!About a week ago I woke up to find that the fog lamp on the drivers side was about half filled with water though! I took it apart today and got the water out, but it still won't turn on. Any suggestions? Or do i need to replace the whole unit?

most likely the lamp is bad, if a halogen lamp gets wet the results usually arent good. usually the worst case scenario is the socket is corroded. buy a new lamp, take the fog light off of the bumper, chek the condition of the socket. if the socket is good, run a bead of silicone around where the 2 halves of the fog lamp are fused together, let it dry, put it back in the bumper and put the new lamp it and give 'er a shot.

Thanks Guys. I think i'm just going to go out and grab new unit's entirely. all the water that sat in them turned the covers yellowish and now they look like crap. But I will throw on that bead of silicone. Also, Does anyone know how much a full xenon system would be? or has anyone done it? I do allot of night driving and I find the halogens aren't bright enough to keep my eyes focused.
