This problem is been around for more than a year, and since it doesnt rain frequently in San Diego, it didnt bother me. But I need to do something about it. Wether a dealer or if someone knows how i can fix it myself i would much rather do that.

Every time it rains, or if i wash my car, water leaks in to the front passenger door. underneath the dashboard. Close to the passenger door. Has anyone have this problem before? I tried searching but I dont know how to search in the forum for Altima Coupe only forum.

Thank you.

Where exactly is the water falling???

If you were to sit in passangers side. Would the water be hitting you feet, knees, thighs??? Is it anywere near your glovebox???

On the floor from the passenger side. Coming down from the corner behind the dash. In the corner behind the engine and behind the fender so to speak. IF you are sitting in the passengers side, it wont touch your knees or legs.

Pull away the carpet and firewall insulation, there is a drain plug/grommit there. Check it out. Actually, I believe there are two... reason: I had the glove box out running amp wire and boost gauge hose through it lol.

thats most likely the issue. my friend installed a audio system, maybe thats the main problem. So what can I do about it?

Def the hose behind theglove box... white/transparent hose... I had it and it dripped on my gfs feet :-)

There is a thread about how to run wires through the firewall they show a picture of that hose there :-)

Yeah, your sunroof drainage hose was disconnected. Take off the glove box, pull back the carpet, reconnect the hose, and that should solve the problem.
