are you absolutely sure about that? i think that running it in recirculate mode would create less condensation because it recirculates the air inside the car which has already ran through the a/c system and gotten dehumidified. running on outside air where all the humidity is, will create more condensation. this is why houses recirculate the air instead of pulling it from outside as to create a lower humidity evironment, which is especially helpful in high humidity area like FL for example.
when my nissan pathfinder's a/c got plugged all i did was poke a coat hanger up into the drip tube and it loosened up the debris. it was a bunch of leaves and dirt.
