Water dripping from left rear quarter on Armada.

I just acquired a 2008 Armada and noticed there was always a
wet spot behind the left rear tire. Its clear water AFAIK and its
coming from this device. Odd thing, the water is not coming
out of the hose, just from around the hose and grommet .

What is this flap/vent thing ?

Nissan calls that a "drafter duct" and it's where air let in through the HVAC system flows out of the cabin. The flaps are to keep the airflow going one way and secondarily to keep water and dirt out of the quarter panel. I'm pretty sure that grommet and nipple are supposed to be a drain, so maybe it's stopped up.

Thanks ! I'll check it out.

A few days ago I could wiggle the hose and
get some water. Now it's colder so it's iced up.

I'll take it to work and put it in a heated building
for more evaluation..

What have you found? A mechanic friend noticed the same water dipping on his new Armada project. It recently got new tires, KM529 kmc wheels, and calipers but needing an alignment. It also has an AC issue as it loses coolant.
