Water comin from muffler, backfiring ,poor peformance

I was was revviing my engine up and i saw smoke so i went to see what it was a tehre was a water what does it mean, and my car is running like crap seems really slow around 30 mph it backfires but it doesnt over heat or nothing wasnt in the morning i had ran it already it barely started backfiring please help. Thanx

Not sure about the running like crap but there should be water dripping. The expansion of air creates moisture (this is due to the heat of the exhaust). All cars do it so don't worry about that part...

among the other things like carbon monoxide, NOx, blah,blah,blah.

U can hear it threw the muffler and when i try to floor it doesnt respond, goes it does sort of like a pop sound, its hard to explain lol.

i'm assuming that u have a stock exhaust...

did u check for leaks? or maybe u have a modified cat? (test pipe?)...

---------PS: do a trouble code scan to see that your coolant temp sensor or other stuff is good. if your running excessively rich d/t the car's pc saying it's not to operating temperature or you're rich d/t disconnected/bad o2 sensor... those pops are excess gas igniting @ the cat area, i believe.

no i dont have a stock exhaust i have 2.25 piping from the cat, i did a trouble code scan i got code 34 so my knock sensor is making my car run like poop?

hmm, knock sensor's there if your car starts to "ping" d/t cheapo gas -->low octane & would retard the timing to compensate & give u poorer performance.

mebbe stay @ 91 octane until u find the bad circuit or sensor/replace/repair as needed?

hmm, i'm gonna let some1 else chime in on this...

well, u sorta know what's the problem...git it fixed or suffer the thing called failsafe mode or limp mode. since the ecu noticed that one of it's sensors are outta whack/disconnected via open wire or something...

u can have Base Timing checked, but I doubt that's the main thing to do... limp mode by running slightly rich to protect your engine.

time to stroll over to nissan online mechanic forums? mebbe d/l the FSM found on the stickys???
