Watching DVD on Nav Screen / iPod

I just bought an 07 M35 w/ the Tech Pkg. I understand that with the Adv Tech Pkg you can watch DVD's while in park. Can you do the same w/ the std Tech Pkg and if not, is there a way to override? Also, what about iPod integration? I hate the FM type units.

I love the car!
