wat to clean turbo with?

got my turbo off and installing it on a tubular mani. just wondering if its ok to spray it down with carb cleaner or something like that to get it clean?

i wouldnt even bother cleaning it since its bottom mount and you can barely see it. I can barely see my 2871R bottom mounted. You should just bolt everything back up and detail the engine bay with degreaser and a powerwasher. You could even spray some tire shine on the engine to give it a nice shine. Just cover up your filter and any electronics you may have in the engine bay.

but i'll know its dirty and it'll bother me so it's getting cleaned

why not send it out to get it polished? It'll be blingin sitting down there next to the engine mount.
