Wasup people! I just joined the G35 Coupe club today!

After 3 weeks of dealing with Infiniti Dealer(stealer) ships that would not budge on price, I spied a silver 2006 No frills ATX (yeah yeah) G-35 Coupe with 21k miles. It came with the wing on the back. (At the least likely place I thought I would find one, a Ford Dealership)

The technology packages really push the prices way up there.

I just wanted a basic coupe with a Sun Roof and a wing on the back and I would be happy.

My 1994 Ford Tarus SHO was an OK car and she served me well into 171k, way longer than any SHO would have lived especially since the ATX is notorious for breaking at 80k to 100K but man she was a ***** to maintain.I never beat on my cars maybe that's why it lasted so long.

I have been lurking arround several forums and decided the G35 Coupe would serve me well since I keep cars for 10 years.

I got tired of front wheel drive cars and way tired of that B.S. timming belt maintenance. Way tired of American cars.

Now to look at pretty pictures of light mods to make my G a little spiffier. I must say the car does get a lot of attention.

That front grill must go, and something needs to go in that tiny compartment where the Nav would go if I had one.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you found the G, you'll not be sorry. There are pleanty of people here with all kinds of advice on the G. You might want to check out the mod database above (FAQ sticky), and do a search for any particular questions about the mods you're interested in.

Welcome, I just joined this great site and the people here are just the best! If you do change your front grill let me know if interested in selling stock since mine is starting to pill some of the chrome from it. It is very easy to post pictures just open an account with Photobucket or any other company like it and click on insert picture, place site in between the brackets and you are done. There is a site that shows how to do it if you need even more info on it. Congrats once again on your new G!
