And yet again another wiring question regarding this RB26 swap into my S14.
I do know for a fact that the Wastegate Valve Control Solenoid Valve (aka Boost pressure valve) is wired by the RB lower harness.
I had my wiring modified by McKinney and they didn't wire this up, or it doesn't have to be wired up by the main harness....
So, by looking in the GTR FSM, it says that this is controlled by Pin 25 on the ECU. When at idle, it should have battery voltage (12v). So, is it safe for me to just wire up a switched 12v to this sucker instead of having to run a wire from pin 25 on the ECU connector all the way to it? Or is this somwhat regulated by the ECU or something along those lines?????
Thanks all.....
