Wastegate spring.

"If you want to run 6 psi at times, you need a 6 lb. spring, boost controllers can only increase, not decrease boost pressure."

I read this from ka-t.org, if I'm reading it correct, it states that the boost controller will allow you to increase boost, but not decrease.

My point is, I have a 11lbs. spring (or so the seller said to me) in my Tial 38MM, and I'll be running a Bliz SBC EBC. I was wondering if I could run low boost setting at 8lbs. and high at 12lbs.? So if what I'm reading is correct, I won't be able to set low boost at 8lbs, right?

Your right, you can't run anything lower than what the wastegate springs is.
