Wastegate solenoid

Is the wastegate solenoid mounted above the igniter? It has 2 vacuum lines and a 2 wire electrical connection, it also appears to have a knob of some sort sticking out the back

I have that, and all the vaccum lines on mine have been capped. My wastegate gets it signal from a nipple on my hotpipe. It just goes directly from the nipple to the wastegate. I have no idea what that is for. I assume something for the AIV system because it is supposed to be mounted on out drive side strut tower.

That's the stock boost solenoid. If your gonna run aftermarket boost controller, cap it off, or remove it, cause it won't let you boost past 10 psi (I think it's 10 psi).
