Well, ive had my Tial 35mm (8 lb spring) since April of last year. The car is only driven on sat nights. Normally my boost gauge reads 6.5 psi solid all the time. Now since its been cold out, my gauge has been reading 9-10 psi. Could this be due to the cold weather or is the wastegate spring going bad..??And to let most of u know, i DO NOT have a boost controller.. The line goes from the compressor itself to the wastegate..

ThanksRobert

Could be the colder denser air... but 3.5PSI does seem a lot for just that. Have you changed anything on the car?

I have changed nothing... I even removed my Manual boost controller cause it turned DOWN all the way, it would still spike to 15 psi and hold. By removing the boost controller i was able to keep it down to 9-10 psi..It has to be the cold... All summer long its been 7 psi solid all day and night.

If nothing else has changed then it could be the denser air. Usually when wastegate springs go bad they tend to open early, not late... but it could be your wastegate sticking or something.

Are you having problems at 10PSI? If not then don't worry about it... at least for now
