hey guys, got another question

attached is a pic of my wastegate i made in paint. (paint ftw btw)

the water outlets arent being used as of yet so they can be ignored, but im not 100% sure about where the other 5 ports should be hooked up to.

i know one has to go to my boost controller (Profec B), and one to a vacuum source....but which ones?

thanks for the help :)

there are only 2 lines that need to be hooked up, the line from soleniod to wastegate goes to the port on the top of the wastegate

the vacuum source or boost source goes to the bottom port of the gate, all the other "air ports" are there to just help make routing easier they dont all need to be in use..

Number 1 goes to the boost controller or vent to atmosphere for wastegate spring pressure only. And I think Number 2 (by your drawing) goes to the vacuum source. Number 2 should be the lowest port on the bottom valve half of the wastegate. Take a look at this pic.

EDIT: Number 2 was wrong (going by Nesquiks drawing). Use either 3, 5, or 7, and block off all others.....

#2 is the little nipple pointing to about 10 o'clock in this pic

so thats the one that needs to go to the vacuum source?

EDIT:

i just took another look, and numbers 3,5,7 are all lower than number 2... confused

Ok, then Number 2 is wrong then. Take a look at that pic that I linked to in my other post. It will either be Numbers 3,5,7. If you blow into one of them, does air come out the others? If so, then just cap the other two.

i think what RRRRB said is correct. and that pic is helpful. thanks :)

#1 is gunna be from boost controller solenoid, either 3,5,7 is gunna be from vac source (others blocked off), and 2 is gunna be blocked off.

thanks for the help guys :)
