I have the IAP kit installed. And when I drive the dumptube is constantly rattling against the body of the car. It's fine when the car idles and there is clearance but when I drive the engine moves around and then I have the brain searing rattle. Too much to enjoy the turbo kit. Now what happens if I just take it off? Good idea or bad? How hot are the gases that come out of that dump tube. Too hot to let some of them hit the body?

I'm running without one.I need to go check it though. Because you don't want the gases to exit inside your engine bay due to smell, and it will make your car rust. Solution. Either hack your body panel if possible. Get the pipe bent, or get a piece of rubber and put in between it.

new motor mounts maybe, solid mounts will def eliminate the problem. or if you want a quick fix take the pipe off and beat it on the ground to tweak it enough to clear while you make/get one made that does fit.

Start with the mounts.

Are the NISMO motormounts hard enough? Or is there something out there that can do the better job?

I bet a newer set of stock mounts could hanfle it. Its not that the stock mounts cant handle the torque, its just that your currrent set is worn out.
