My question is where to dump the wastegate. I have the IAP downpipe and it ends before the bend to go under the car. I am going to have to go to a muffler shop to have them custom make that downpipe. Should i have them flange and bring a tube to he other dowpipe they will have to make so it can go back into the exhaust? Is this the best way? Will i gain/lose hp? Should i just dump it too the atmosphere? I dont know if i would want the loud wail when the wastegate opens up if i dont route it to the exhaust. Thanks,~Sam

and make sure it merges in smoothly, no sharp bends

some people that dump to atmosphere use small mufflers on the dump tube and say that it sounds alot better, personally i dont really know

Open wastegate (DUMP) =

More simple.

More power.

Cool sound at WOT.

It is loud, but I like it...I'd have it no other way.

Here's a pic:

Dump Tube...exits right under the drivers seat.

Yeah just dump it to the atmosphere, like orion said way more simple then trying to reroute back to the exhuast. Cost me 5 dollars for the piping and 10 minutes of my time to weld up my dump tube. If you don't like the sound you can just stick a lawn mower muffler on there, I had originally put one on mine but opted to take it off.
