Wastegate boost source

Initially i planned on tapping my hotpipe to run the boost source for my stock t-25 wastegate. I am now thinking about not doing this and just running a vacuum line over to the intake manifold. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this?

It has been a long day and i have been thinking about this for some reason.

I have heard that it is better to run the wastegate boost source line over to the cold side because the pressure being more consistent since there are less temperatures. What is your input on this?

its not as responsive it best to tap it stright from the turbo

most turbo have a spot that you could tap on the compressor housing
