I just put on a HKS actuator and when removing the old one the little clip that holds the actuator shaft on the turbo fell to pieces. Does anyone know if this is a standard "e clip"? If so is there a specific size I need to look for?

Yep, the new actuator should come with one too. I lost both the old and new ones in about 2 minutes so I used a C- clasp from my girlfriend's necklace. Just opened it up with pliers and closed it around the shaft. Been working ever since:D

I am using piece of a paper clip for now. I bought the actuator slightly used so it did not come with one.

go to your local auto parts store and buy some e-clips. I saw some at my local kragens just the day before yesterday and it was in a red package with the word "help" on it, it was in an assortment. Might wanna give that a try.

I went to the hardware store today on the way home and bought two different sizes. The smaller one worked. Thanks for all the help guys.

I used the HELP "assorted wire clips" Just pick out a small one and stick it on there. I tried safety wire and a bent up paperclip, but that didn't work too well.

Thanks for the post Paul. I found the properly sized E-clip and am using it.
