waste gate and MBC

i got waste gate with a 5.83psi spring, and a Manual boost controler, my question is with the MBC can i turn down the boost to lower than 5.83 or turn up the boost higher than that spring rate.

You can only keep it at the wastegate spring rate and turn up the boost.

if you are looking to boost less than 5.8 psi, you can always hook up the wastegate ref. line at the compressor outlet or somewhere on the hotpipe. there will be a small drop across the IC and piping but may be just what you are lookin for.
