i know i'm pretty new here but i might know a thing or two from time to time and if i think i can help i chip in with advice.

i've noticed though that there's only a few that do the same...but look at the number of views on topics?!

so i'm thinking either not many members know a whole lot about their car or there's a bunch of guests that become a member when something goes wrong with their car

i joined because i'm a proud owner of a nissan maxima and wanted to be around people who feel the same about their car - how about all of you that read but never reply???

as a reference check out D roc's bunper thread - over 20 views but 3 replies to something so simple...

i'm with ya there allensteiner!!

i like to help the people that need help with their max's, but sometimes it feels like a "how can i fix this" forum, sadly. Even though it feels like that a lot, it still sucks me in everyday, LOL!!

i still like NICO b/c they have helped me so much. When i first joined i knew very little about my maxima, and NICO helped me build and fine tune my maxima into what i want it to be!!!

More people need to read this! I feel the same way. People join to find a fix to their problem then come back when they run into another. And I know I cant speak really becasue I am so new but thats only because I just found out about this place! If I had only known years ago... And another example. My thread.. the 4th gen motor mounts squeaking.. there is almost 500 views and its been only you and lightsout giving me any advice.. to bad.. we all need to be more like those classic Z guys!!

Lightsout skip the 240 or get a g or 350 and a 240 as a project or track car.

It is very rare to see a nice max but when you do its nice! There seems to be no half way there cars. Its either stock or bad ***! I guess only the people that love their Nissan's are the ones doing it so thats why they are all so nice. And allensteiner you should do an air intake! If you havent heard one on a max yet then your missing out! They sound so mean!!

slow down fellas!

first things first...although i do want an intake, i need to get:a door because when i got my max it had a hole in it (patched up for now), the front seats need new sides - thinking burgundy leather to match the paint and center concole draped in burgundy leather...new battery, valve cover gaskets, radiator, windshield, new gauge cluster (my odo is stuck) rims, taillights and then performance like a custom cai to suck in from the bumper, exhaust and a sound system. maybe a nice body kit - nothing

so you see guys, a lot of $$$ to run by wife that bishez about me spending more time with the car than her... but it's comming...
