Washington DC's "Typhoon Ondoy" Relief Efforts

Hey guys we're trying to start a car meet/Fundraiser in Tyson's Corner Area Saturday, October 3, 20091:00pm - 6:00pmParking Lot near Tysons, Annandale or McLean - To be determinedFairfax, VA

Please help us help the people in the Philippines, more than 300 people have died and more than 280,000 mothers, grandparents and children are missing. Weather forecast says 2 more typhoons are coming around again...soon.

Victims, Actors, Actresses, Newscasters and Politicians are asking everyone around the world for help. Are we just gonna sit here and watch? Please join us this Saturday by gathering the people in our Fil-Am Community from the Washington DC Region. Together we can support all of our Family Members, Friends and Neighbors back home by donating in this relief effort.

We would appreciate:FOOD ITEMS: Rice, noodles, canned goods, sugar, iodized salt, cooking oil, monggo beans and bottled water

MEDICINE: Paracetamol, antibiotics, analgesic, oral rehydration salts, multivitamins and medications to treat diarrheal diseases

HOUSE-HOLD ITEMS: Bath soaps, face towels, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, plastic mats, blankets, mosquito nets, jerry cans, water containers, water purification tablets, plastic sheetings, Laundry soap & school suplies
