Well just got my 240SX yest. Its a 95" SE 5spd 60k miles. Anyways I washed and waxed it cleaned the windows now I want to clean the dash and the door panels ect. I dont have anything specifically for cleaning the inside of a car...is there anything I can use around the house to get the job done? Also when washing the seats...you guys know anything good to use? One more thing whats a good airfreshner, sorta smells like an old fart in this mofo.

I got a used set of S14 seats and cleaned them with, 1st simple green, and then an upholstery cleaner bought at Kragen. I used a little brush and elbow grease. The seats turned out nice. If you want them really clean remove their covers and pressure wash them. I did this to just the head rest and it was amazing how black the water was when I was finished. With the dash and really anything else I would wash them with car soap and a wash mit; a tooth brush would be handy too. It helps to have a wet dry vac. After that use what ever vinyl dressing you prefer, since the soap may dry it out a bit. I use Maguire’s vinyl shine because it seems to be the shiniest. I used to detail for a dealership and it just takes time, sometimes a lot of time.

and for air freshener use the "I cleaned it out" smell. Washing everything down should fix that problem. The Maguire's viynl stuff smells darn good.

Those Glade air fresheners that clip onto the air vents smell real nice. I recommend Citrus, especially when the AC is on .

Vinyl and plastic: Clean with 409 and wipe with a wet rag. Treat with Vinylex (if you have Armor all, throw it in the garbage)

Fabric: Any good foaming cleaner, vacuum afterwards, then hit it with some Febreeze.

Carpet: Same deal.
