i was each one of my cars once or twice a week. And they each get a wax and shampoo and whatnot once every two weeks. And then once a month i clay the whole car and use paint protectant, wax, and then a polishing wax.

5-Star Shine is not simple wax. It lasts through many washings apparently.

There are a couple threads around here regarding 5-star. Do a search and read about it. It supposedly lasts 5 years. I've had mine on for about 6 months I think and it still looks like I just put it on yesterday. The water does bead up nicely, but I still like to use the spotless rinse just to make sure that I don't get anywater spots. It is a really nice product and well worth the money in my opinion.

But, you should deffinetly wash the car and clay bar it before applying, to make sure that there are no impurities on the paint.

I got the delux kit that came with car wash, clay bar, detail spray, towel, the 2-step 5-Star wax product and an applicator for $90 I think. Plus there was a discount for NICO members. Check out the banner/ad on the side. Chadster is the sales rep here on NICO, you can also email him for info.

That's a SWEET deal.

Amazing how many people "cheap-out" on caring for their paint.

Yeah, I thought so. It was well worth money too as you'll see at the meet in Lexington.

Well I will probably purchase it after I get the parts of the car repainted that need it. This way I'm not taking a clay bar to clear coat that is completely hosed.

So I washed the car and waxed it and it was all nice outside and the car looked great so it decides to freaken snow last night....errrgghhh
