The wipers all work. But the washer part does not, no indications. Which the tank very clogged. As it has a lot of sludge in it. I'm trying to remove the tank to thoroughly clean it . Have gotten 2 screws out from the bottom up. So, is there another screw?? Just can't get it out. I purchased this J30 last week.

ThanksLaura

There is only one washer tank and if its empty there will be no washer fluid going to the windshield. If tank is confirmed full then inspect the washer motor.

The procedure for removing the washer tank is in the service manual: http://Nicoclub.com/FSM

Open your hood.

Look along the passenger side, there is a tube in the hood gulley that connects to the washer nozzles. This plastic tube is susceptible to expansion and contraction from hot and cold. Sometimes it disconnects itself from the nozzles leaving the washers inoperable. Have you checked this?

If it has detached itself reconnect it and wrap some sticky electrical tape around it.

The tank is full and the hoses are connected. I'll try to clean the tank at a car washer before replacing the pump. A lot of sludge in that tank.
