I haven't looked yet, but how do the windshield washer heads come out of the hood?

I need to compound the hood because some furrin material was sprayed on the hood by an auto wash a few years back. I tried everything short of lacquer thinner to get this crap off, and only the dangerous dupont "red" compound will touch it, so the washer heads must go till I finish....It would be mpossible to buff around them.

Heck, I removed the sheepshins off the (Tan Leather) front seats yesterday, because they have been on for at least 5 years..and wow, what great shape the front seats are in....I ain't puttin em back on....After 5 years or so, you'd think I'd have gotten around to a full detail. :-)

Porsches will take up all your time........

If anyone is interested, they have 2 clips, 1 front, 1 back. I used "snap ring" plires to compress the clips, and then they pop out thru the top. 90deg. needle nose plires would work better, I think.
