washed engine bay, now it idles rough

A classic noob mistake. not afraid to admit it.

I washed the engine bay. covered the after market short ram intake filter so it can't be the issue. now when i'm idling there is a bit of "choking". feels like the plugs are mis-firing. but when i start to drive it feels fine - until I come to a light or a stop sign. then I feel it again.

i checked the spark plug wells. all seem to be dry except one. had a bit of moisture and i wiped it off. it reduced the choking a lot but i still feel it lightly. drove around 2 days thinking it will dry off but didnt help.

help this choking soul....

Use to clean your electrical wires

Would probably displace the moisture

Let it dry out. Likely water in the MAFS connection.

Spray some WD-40 in each electrical connector, wipe, and reconnect.

wd-40 on all your electrical connections and ignition plugs. Some water is in something causing a circuit to malfunction.Pull and reseat your electrical plugs....blow them out w some compressed air if you see any wetness too.

actually i think it was my spark plug wells. i kept opening them and wiping them everyday. after few days it was minimized and went away. now im a happy camper..
