I never did anything to my wheel wells but wash them. THey came dark from the factory.
My bumpers have the same shine/colour as the rest of the car. The one front view pic with the hood open makes the lower bumper look less red. It's just because of the camera and the fact that it was so bright outside.
I used the Meguair's Clay Bar Kit. I only buy their products. I also use their Quik Wax occasionally after a wash.

The entire body of the car is all the same. Shine and paint colour.
The front lower bumper is severely chipped from the road, but other than that, she's still beautiful
