Was: Question about selling 08 EX35 AWD

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I think this is a good timing to sell your EX since, there are not many new 08 EX available and 09s are not out yet. i will try my best to help you valuating your vehicle.

as of now your vehicle is still current year vehicle, eventhough its 2009, they do not have 09/10 models yet, therefore manufacture year would not cause anything to lower the value of your car.

also in the terms of cash buyers getting a better deal, we would have to subtract the incentives they had(the greatest amount), which is $6000.00 from the invoice price of the vehicle.

-also try getting Carmax offer on your EX, sometimes they give crazy value for like new vehicle like yours, Their value plus about $1000 to $1500 should be very nice price to start with.

your MSRP was 42k and your invoice should be around $38500-38700 subtract the incentive which will give us $32700 minus the miles driven times $0.33 should be a okay price for the shoppers. The wholesale book shows $35600.00 we need to remember they did not subtract the incentives yet, its funny they do not count the incentives but all consumers knows that.

If you want a quick sale, i would start around $31k and get the best offer.

Aren't you pretty much listing it on this forum with this thread?

If I wasnt so strapped right now I'd try to work something out for the stockers and snow tires...I would LOVE to add that to my EX.

Good luck with your sale.

I know a lot of forums that don't like you posting things for sale in a not for sale section.
That was EXACTLY the point being made. It's great that you know the rules, which makes how you proceeded (on the original thread) even more interesting!

1. For Sale threads are to be posted in the appropriate Classifieds forum ONLY. For Infiniti vehicles: zeroforum/191The idea is to prevent ads from cluttering up normal discussion threads.

2. The 10-post rule is there to guard against someone joining just to sell their car or other stuff.

Given you just joined (and haven't contributed to NICO in any other thread) and with the info/pics, etc included in your post, you actively promoted the sale of your car in the EX forum (and not the Classifieds one), your posts have been deleted, and the thread re-incarnated (then locked).

This both resets your post count and eliminates the rule violation.

When you have substantively contributed to NICO with 10 posts, fatalsports, we would all be pleased to see you post your car in the appropriate Classifieds forum (as linked above).

Cheers,David
