I could not believe this when she said this, seriously. And on the side topic of this. Is our country really divided right now, or more unified you think? I feel like this election has brewed up so much hate between people and their views. Our country is really intense right now haha

In regards to our country being united or divided. Since 9/11, our country has become bitterly divided as the People have subscribed more and more to partisan/party politics. This will be the demise of our country, and I'm completely serious about that statement. This was Thomas Jefferson's greatest fear in our government. At least I think it was Jefferson that thought this, it was one of the founding fathers.

The two party system of America is its biggest weakness, and very well could be its undoing. Its allowing for a huge distraction, a fight between party lines while there are much bigger issues plaguing our Govt. Instead of focusing on the real issues, people are split between two parties who in reality dont have that many differences. Just a few key ones that people are so polarized over that it leads them to vote along party lines, ignoring other serious issues.

Not really. kooky behavior is not only a democrat trait. This lady has just done her constituency a favor and pinned her crackpot McCarthism on her sleeve so it can be seen and dealt with. Vote her out

Since the left likes to make passive agressive attacks on the right with movies I suggest they recruit Lynda Carter to play her, TV's Wonder Woman, the resemblance is spooky.

The closeness of their resemblance is scary. Why don't we have Halloween icons?

That'd be James Madison. IIRC it is from the Federalist Papers. His solution was factions. Let the public be split into smaller groups organized around what they believe to be the most important issue (ex., abortion, guns, environment, economy, etc.). The idea is that the groups would have to align to get things done, but that these alliances would not be permanent. More of like a quid pro quo kind of thing. The alliances would therefore be floating in nature, specifically to avoid a massive organization of only a couple of parties. IIRC he believed this would also produce better candidates; b/c the groups would all have to align behind a candidate, each candidate would have to be good enough to get the support of a number of factions.
