ok .. now ive thought about trading, so this is why i am asking. If you trade on a z... doesnt that add the a/c's payoff to the new z? so $0.00 of the z + the A/C $0.00 payoff= a larger amt to pay off in the end. am i correct? and no im not getting rid of the altima.. lol just asking.

Congrats. I was thinking of getting 08 Nismo Z or 09 370Z, but I bought 08 Enthusiast because it was 12 grand cheaper than those two.

How did you manage to go from a 350z to a 2.5 A/C anyway?

Looks like you buy cars too often!

Regardless, the 370z is a damn fine car, hope you enjoy the crap out of it!

I allways had 2 cars, 1 was the z, and 2 was a gas milage car that i could carry friends around, it use to be a civic but i upgraded i to a altima coupe due to i liked it better.

I sold the z and kept the gas milage car but i missed the z bad and waited for the 370z and just traded it in.

All my cars are payed off including the brand new Z. So i didnt have any "negative equity" if thats the right word.

As for the trade in value, good luck i got straight out raped, dealer pretty much told me we have to sell new 2.5's for 16k becuase we cant even move them. Dont think hes lie'ing in 1 year ownership of the coupe i have only seen my brothers coupe plus 1 dude driving 90mph in his like it was a ferrari. But on the bright side i can sort of afford the loss with out any damage to my self.

Very nice! The black will make you BAKE! The only beef I have with the 370Z is Nissan going BALLS OUT on the crab claw design... Eww on the head-lights and eww on the wheels. I guess you can easily replace the wheels, financial-wise, if you're trading cars at this speed but it might take some fender power-tooling and an after-market kit to replace that head-light. With the number of passengers I usually carry, I should've waited until now to buy a $25k 350Z or picking up a $16k A/c (paid $23,287 for mine). The Altima's a very comfortable car though. Otherwise, sooo jealous .

Yes, that is correct. Say for example, your car is worth 20K on trade in, which they give you, but you owe 25K. That extra 5k would roll over into your new car. So you would have to either cover the difference and get a loan for the new cost of the Z, or add that 5K into the cost of the Z and get approved for the loan to cover the total.

I had an 06 2.5 5mt sedan, and I traded it in on my 3.5se. I basically rolled 6K into a 31k car. And my interest rate isn't the best (10%). I'm financing 37K. Needless to say, I'll be refinancing ASAP.

sorry i dont feel like saying how bad i got screwed. Lets just say when you trade in a Civic LX coupe you can get ALOT more than a 2.5s altima coupe hahah. trade in value for coupe 2.5 = pure crap. Im sure if i wanted to wait months and months for a private buyeri could have, but it would have defeated the purpose of gettin a 370z on my bday.

also didnt help i had 2 minor door dings on right side, that i got quoted 800 to 1,000 dollars to fix from diff places

nice car...i love the styling even though most dislike the new headlights and taillights... I wish I could have waited for the 370, but needed a car and couldn't wait. Personally, breaking in a new car is always more fun than getting one that you hope someone didn't do damage to it.
