Modding headlights, does this void your warranty?

Like any MOD. If a problem occurs related to that MOD..it will not be covered.

So say I mod my headlights, and a part that has nothing to do with the lights gets all messed up, is that part still under warranty?

You are correct. Here's an example:

You mod your headlights....now your drivers seat won't move. The seat will still be covered under the warranty. However, if you mod your headlights and you get condensation in the lens, that WILL NOT be covered under your warranty IF the dealer realizes that you modded your headlights. (If the mod is not easy to see...you might get away with it.)

Does that clear it up? This goes for any mods on your car. In fact, because I modded my exhaust, the dealer charged me $150 to take off the exhaust to do warranty work on my transmission!!

What I'd like to know is if you have a supercharger...and you blow your engine, if you take off the SC before taking it to the dealer, can they tell that the SC caused the damage?

IT probably depends on the type of damage. You don't see a lot of messed up internals on the engine from NA, even with hard driving.
