does anyone know if the K and N typhoon cold air intake will void the factory warranty on the G35 coupe?

Not likely, but it's not a very good investment.

There's better ways of making more power for the same money, and they won't endanger your MAF or engine internals.

Motordyne plenum spacer should be every G owner's FIRST modification.

why would it endanger your MAF or engine internals? and where can i buy a Motordyne plenum spacer for a good price?

because if u sink ur car in water it will suck water in ur engine unless u have a bypass valve

Inferior filtering is usually a problem for the 2nd or 3rd car owner. One must decide if Karma is involved.

I know I examine for signs of modification in doing prebuys and suggest that a compression test be done to see how much ring damage these things caused before I give an ok to purchase.

Bad filtration is easy to spot in MAF and plumbing leading to TB or inside plenum. However it gets confusing with bad oil changes and lack of PCV maintenance.

Compression is the only way to know for sure how much abuse the previous owner created.
