Hey guys, i was thinking about doing a resonator delete and putting on a straight pipe, by doing that does it void my warranty? does the resonator have to be cut off for the straight pipe to be welded on or is it a bolt?

I'm not sure about the resonator but If you mess with the cats, they will most definitely void the warranty. Deleting the resonator makes the sound a little raspy just a heads up.

yeah thats what people have been telling me, but i havent really had a chance to actually hear it. I would assume it gets louder and it makes the car raspy at high rpms? well if it does void the warrenty its only going to be on the exhaust and nothing else right? not going to mess with the cats!

If you want to do true dual you have to remove the ypipe which has a cat in it. If youre talking about splitting the pipe towards the rear than no cats will be touched.
