Hello AllI am a new member to NICO, I bought a 2003 I35 last week with 44K Miles on it. I have shoped half the United States for pricing on the Elite Extended Protection Plan and the best price i have received so far is $1395 for an additional 4years and 48K miles with 50 deductible, basically putting me at year 2010 around 92K miles, do you guys think this is a good deal for that, Please let me know, any input is appreciated, thanks.Amindu

P.S I didnt go with 3rd party becuase they were more expensive, like Warranty Direct and others

Not bad on the price, but it's a warranty on powertrain only, yeah? If so , personally I'd pass. The odds of anything going wrong with the powertrain before 100k are pretty slim. You may (and probably will) lose your MAF before 100k, but it won't be covered if it's PT only. Other than the MAF and alternator, our cars are pretty solid. If it's a bumper-to-bumper warranty, you may get your $$$ worth. Also you know that the warranty will expire at the one that comes first, the 48months or 48k miles.

I'd say that was a good price if it Is bumper to bumper. I bought my car with 79000 miles and the extended warranty was $2000 bumper to bumper, 3 years or 36000 miles. I've already put it to use with a new altenator.

Yes the Elite is a bumper to bumper warranty, so covers quite a bit inside out.
