Warranty expiring in June 2012-What should I get done before

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Warranty on my 2008 Journey AWD is expiring a in a few months.
I would like some advice on what ti get done at the dealership before that happens.

A few things I came up with (hope it's covered under warranty)

1) Rear hatch strut - lost it's lifting power, I have to lift it up myself.
2) gas pump - I don't think I have the noise issue that some people are having when making slow right turns. Should I replace it anyway just in case? Might be expensive to replace after warranty expires.
3) rattling noise from inside the glove compartment. The glove compartment is empty so not objects are causing this noise.
4) Overall checkup to make sure no fluid leak.

Anything else you guys can think of?

Things that have been done so far by the dealership that's covered under warranty:
1) replaced steering motor
2) replaced roof rack due to pain peeling

Thanks

no advice? I know many of you are owners of the 2008 EX35 :).

Check the gas filler door to make sure it locks when the car is locked. If not, get it fixed.

Are the covers for the mirrors on your windshield visors in working order? If not, it's a warranty item.

There's a partial warranty on the battery. Is yours in good working order?

There were some threads here on the cause of rattling coming from the glove compartment. You should search for them so you have something to tell the dealer.

And I'm pretty sure Infiniti is not going to replace your gas pump under warranty if there's nothing wrong with it.

Happy motoring!

The mirror covers on sun visors seem to fall of on often on both Nissan and Infiniti because the hinge brakes. Dealers know this and keep sun visors in stock. Mine got replaced on both cars.
The paint on cross bars on my car peels off too, but I thought they'd attribute it to normal wear and would not cover it under warranty. So, your's got replaced, ah?
The lift gate struts seem fail only when it's cold out - again, common complain. It seems like the new struts will be better but still not perfect.

Yeah, they replaced it under warranty. The peeling pain wasn't a big deal since you can't see it unless you look on top of the roof searching and doesn't affect functionality. The thing I'm most scare about is the fuel pump since I have the 2008 model. I don't know when it's going to break. If the fuel pump issue affect all 2008 or only certain ones?

That's the first time I hear about fuel pump. Mine seem to be fine unless there're symptoms I should watch but I know nothing about
