warranty expired or deactivated???

got a call, picked up. then some automated message about how my car's warranty has been deactivated or is expired.... then patches me through a system.... (no customer rep can help you now)repeat x5.... then some lady picks up and asks me for year make and model, finds out i have 2008 and was like you got a new car?.... then still typing in background out of no where she says yukon is made by ford or chrysler, i said gm?? wierd.... then more typing. then she tries to sell me on a warranty reading word for word something off her computer even asks me a question of which she gives me no time to answer but i still said yea. anyways at the end she gives me the benefits of warranty and etc.... then she says what payment plans do you want to have? i say no thankyou..... (hangs up)

obviously a scam, but has anyone had a call like thisi mean just bought my car and my extended warranty expired? i mean

yea man same thing happened to me 3 months after I got my car. I got a letter saying my warranty expired and stuff. I called the dealership where I bought my car from and they told me that my warranty is still good for another 3 years or whatever mileage they said (i forgot). I asked them about the letter and they told me to not even pay attention to that because its a scam.

i had the same phone call...its all scamyou're warranty cannot be deactivated, its just a bunch of bull****ignore it, and enjoy your coupe

yeah i got this too. they kept calling me saying something about my warranty, normally i just hang up. i normally always hang up if i hear that its an automated machine. except one time the machine says that my warranty is gonna expire or something if i dont reply to this call. so i press button 1. it transfers me to someone and they say "year make and model'. i tell him 07 nissan altima. he says thanks and hangs up. without even getting a chance to talk to him. i didnt say yes to anything, but i wonder if this will screw me later.
