Hi

I have a 2005 G35 which I've been real happy with. My original warranty is about to run out and I was wondering if there are suggestions out there, based on experience of some problems that start to creep up as the car hits the four and five year mark. I'd like to have my mechanic look for those specific issues while the car is in its last months of the warranty. thanks!

my 2005 has been great so far... i have 43,000 miles on it... i had one warranty repair of my fuel dampers at 31k miles right before my warranty ran out in march of this year and got front brakes changed also at 31k

been nothing but fluid changes other than those two items for me...

I have had a big list...

Sun roof, Rotors, Brakes, New Engine, 2 trans, compression rods, Full flap thing in the tank.

But I still love it and it is good to go now!

Welcome to Nico!

I would check the spark plug chambers to see if they are leaking oil.

Might consider checking with Nissan dealer to see how much an extended warranty would be. My Nissan dealer lets me have warranties at employee price, so I know there is some mark up.

Check the window motors and seat motors. Make sure they are working smoothly. Check the AC - make sure there is about a 30 degree diff between in the vent and outside. Look for AC leaks - dirt around the connections- refrig oil attracts dirt.
