So I finally got around after all these years to install this on one of my cars. The fit was good.I drove it around for a weeka nd noticed an increase in gas mileage. As for power... unfortunately, I feel like I lost some bottom end torque. But mid-top end it feels smoother. My exhaust note sounds a lil more aggressive too. Overall.... thumbs up !!!

Moved. A bit more Maxima specific than VG/VE.

Good deal. The y-pipe is one of the best bolt-on mods for the Maxima's. Glad you like it.

I've been thinking about putting one on my 2k2 but I've heard that it needs some modification to fit... is there any truth to this or is it a true bolt on?

For a 5.5gen, you want to replace the headers as that's where the precats are located.

WarpSpeed Y-pipe and the 2k2 don't mix. Unless they have changed something over the last couple years (doubtful) you will have lots of banging issues.

Mine is sitting in my garage after I yanked that biach off.

I would suggest Cattman headers. Fezzik (2k2 6mt) showed appx +30hp on the dyno after installation of his.
