I am currently in the NY metro area for some classes. Now, onto the subject at hand. If anyone is considering this car, please be aware that I checked it out a few weeks ago for a friend and it is not as represented. The car is nowhere as clean as the seller states. The interior is pretty clean but the rest of the car is shady. The first thing I noticed was the mismatched tail lights. The pass side is from a 90-93 Q.



There was mud in all the nooks and crannies of the car. I pulled up the trunk carpet and saw rust and mud. The engine valley also had a decent amount of sediment. All these are warning signs indicating potential flood damage. Both front headlights look brand new and are in much better shape than the side lamps. I suspect they might have been changed recently along with the mis-matched tail light. Why?



The dent that the seller says is "minor" would probably cost at least $500 - $600 to fix. It looks as if someone whacked the car with a baseball bat. Anyway, I told my friend to run from the car.
