This is second time I've heard bad thing about Intense. You know there are many places sell 240 parts, so you can get the money back and move on. Parts shopping should be fun and make you happpy. Not like this, man. Last thread, a guy from Itense chimed in and explained. Wonder they will do the same thing for this thread.

I spoke to Someone named Chris on this transaction yesterday, though the order is for David. We immediately contacted JWT at the time we were contacted regarding JWT mis-shipping a clutch instead of a flywheel.

The part numbers are one number off and being in this industry I can understand how they may make that mistake. They happen and no one is perfect unfortunately its on a fairly critical part.

At the time of order the part was on back order as well.Once it shipped the problem occured.

When I contacted JWT yesterday to find out why my customer did not have his flywheel error rectified they simply said they made a mistake and neglected to ship the new item out.

Keep in mind we are incurring a charge for the clutch that our customer has and a charge for the flywheel until the clutch is returned to JWT on JWT shipping costs (not the customer)

Poor customer service? Since we are out double on this transaction and have put enough time into it at the low price it was sold at we have actually lost money at this point but, continue to help the customer and rectify his situation. I wouldn't call that poor service.

I am responding to this thread as well... poor service not in my opinion.

Took care of JWT error yesterday and asked that they expedite shipping at our cost to get it to him quicker... poor customer service... not in my opinion.

We treat all of our customers with the same level of respect as the next whether they spend $20 or $20,000.

I love how that hate wagon starts chiming in here with no personal reference other than some forum drama.

This situation has been rectified and the person I spoke to yesterday seemed satisfied with my communications and apology on behalf of us (Intensepower.com) becuase he did buy it from us and on behalf of JWT... I know horrible customer service on my part right?

I am surprised that this rained down on us as a dont buy from us thread but, it is the internet so it goes that way sometimes. Even though we spoke yesterday.

Now not directed at the OPAs for no one here being worth sh*t... except for Han. Wow very professional and mature on your part. What experience do you speak from?Do you know me, my name is Pete. One should truly watch how they speak about others without prior knowledge of who they speak of.

Ever heard the saying "it is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool then to open it and remove all doubt"? this applies to you sir.

I am here 9am-6pm Mon-fri to take calls and provide CUSTOMER SERVICE, should you have an issue or need to take your comment up further feel free to call 480-635-8888 and ask for ME... PETE. I would LOVE the opportunity to speak to you on the matter.

Feliz Navidad and Happy Holidays to everyone as I hope this clears up any further postings on the matter.

I will ask that it stay on topic and all th eoff topic non relevant post be deleted and or banned if the bashing continues as it is direct violation of TOU's on this board.

Thanks,Pete-Sales Manager for Intensepower.coom

I think your a bit off base here.

Minus the grammatical errors I see no issue with the OP's comments. He paid for two products, and hasn't received them in a timely manner. He shouldn't have had to call you to find out that these items were on backorder.

I don't know why you said "Keep in mind we are incurring a charge for the clutch that our customer has and a charge for the flywheel until the clutch is returned to JWT on JWT shipping costs (not the customer) ". He ordered the correct product, someone mis-processed or mis-shipped the item. Now he has to take time out of his day to send it back. It was not the customers mistake, the return shipping fee's and responsibility should not be on him anyhow. If he had proper notification and received the proper items there would have never been an issue to begin with.

IMO I think selling items your dont keep inventory of is just bad overall, but it is a way of doing business and I understand why. But if you sell items you dont stock it should be listed clearly on your website. He purchased the part with the assumption you had the part you sold in stock. Notifying him of the back-order instead of making him find out on his own is pretty poor communication.

Please rectify the issue in a timely matter. To the OP, sorry you had to go through this, I hope you get the correct parts very soon, and it all works out for you. If you do have to send parts back please do so as you as you can. Please let us know how you make out.

although it is kinda irrelevant, i purchased some things from intense a while ago and it got them super fast and a good price, occasionally things fall through the cracks, and i am glad to see them work to rectify the issues.

As it seems everyone's being civil here, I'll leave this thread open for the time being so that the parties can conduct their discussion.

However, allow me to remind everyone that the one thing we do NOT allow is commentary by a non-customer. If you haven't been involved in a business transaction with Intense (or any other vendor, for that matter), then don't even think of posting in these types of threads. It's unfair and ban-worthy.

That keeps things fair and equitable.

For what it's worth, I know Han and Pete, the sales manager (and most of the staff of Intense) personally, and I know them to be reliable and trustworthy.

I do know they have been in the process of completing a colossal move (shop and business operations) recently... but in the interest of complete transparency, I won't disallow postings from someone who's experienced a problem JUST because the company is a NICO Sponsor or vendor.

Carry on.

I live about 15 miles from intense. I went to their shop to check them out and order a couple of parts. (A fuel pump and a pair of sway bars). I was told up front that they usually stock them but were currently out. I placed the order. I was given an estimate of when the parts should arrive at my door. The vendors were slower than they should have been by two weeks. I contacted intense who imediately contacted the vendors and confirmed when they would really be there. They then volunteered to make up for the delay by discounting my next order considerablly which I plan to place tomorrow. I have been impressed with these guys and their prices have been more than fair. I am new to S14s and had never ridden in one with decent suspension. One of the guys took me for a ride in his personal car so I could check out his ride quality. Above and beyond the call of duty. They have been more than fair with me so far and I plan to do much buisiness with them in the future.

azhitman i am quite glad to know that weather the vender is a sponcer or not has no bearing on discussions such as these.

to intensepower. it was most likely chris that you talked to. he is the mechanic who is doing the work on the car. it is very hard for me to actually make phone calls seeing as there is a 9 hour time difference between the states and where im at.

i apologize for starting a "do not buy from thread". i was quite angry about a lot of things at the time, which doesn't happen very often, and i took it out on you guys. that being said i do wish to share experiences with the community.

if i had known the item was on back order i would not have ordered it at that time, could have used the money elsewhere. i also know you lost money on this as well. its a loose loose for both us. i thank you for your efforts at correcting the deficiency.

it may help to put an "on backorder" or "out of stock" next to items. for the most part your prices cant be beat and i may still order from you in the future simply because of that.

Doesn't sound like we're getting the whole story.

I for one don't see that as the whole story. Let's back up a bit.

So, you tried to buy a vehicle from him? Or you tried to sell a vehicle to him?

I was buying a truck from him , I'm a Polisher and used to polish turbos etc for him in doing so I also polished rims for his truck and was a nice truck at the time and mentioned if he ever wanted to sell it let me know , 2 or 3 years go buy and opertunity arises so he says 6500 for his truck half down he Carry's me , he comes over with the truck and I say where's the truck this is it he says , paint job shot no tires in bad shape and says it's mechanicly sound same price , at this point he becomes aggressive and takes the 2500 I had as a down fills out the contract has me sign it and put it away , well I need a receipt and copy of contract he says I'll go make copy's and bring back ,he never did, doesn't put me as owner or registered owner and himself a** lein holder , I ask at least 20 times for my copys of paper work and ignores me , I even pay for registration and it's still registered to him do you want me to go on ? I mean the guy minipulated the whole process , do you want me to finish because that's breach right there

That is not a complete story. If you're out $2500 and have no truck to show for it, then something else happened. Which I suppose would be fine to share. This was an 8 year old thread, resurrected for smearing a name, with a rather odd story. I mean, I sense some emotion in the typing. Anger and frustration. Whether that is contrived or not, I haven't decided.

Why was the truck kept and the down payment money and you have nothing? Why no court claim? Why no broken kneecaps? Why were you still interested in buying the truck when it was all run down and crappy after 2-3 years? Why would you continue on to pay registration without copies of the contract or receipt for your down payment? When did all of this go down? This year maybe?

Why are there so many questions? Because, it is not a complete story. Go ahead and continue with the story.

I payed 4800 and no truck I even came up with the rest of the money for the truck and refused, 4800 on a 6500 and refused is a rip off either way you look at it , he breached the very first day when I gave him the deposit and made sure I didn't get any record of receipts and copy of contract, if your justifying his actions your just as screwed as he is, I don't care if I robbed a bank or drove it off a cliff or I ran you over with it ,it was intentional minipulation fraud , I took him to court but he didn't show up , people need to know who there dealing with and they need to watch out for you too. If he had went about it the way DMV guide lines say I wouldn't be on this dam sight talking to you, I wasn't gonna see my money or own that truck either way you look at it , if he didn't say he would provide me with receipt and copy of documents I never would of gave him my money, he screwed me deal with it

I'm not interested in doing it his way I'm not interested in doing it your way at 4800 that's more my truck than his or yours , maybe you want to take his place cus I sure as hell can't get him in to court if I finished the whole story it makes him look pretty bad don't believe me ? Get power of attorney and let's handle this instead of you defending it I got nothing to hide , let's go to court let them decide cowboy

Doing this my way would get me in trouble tell him to man up and stop hiding or if he's scared give you responsibility I'm told that's why we have the court system so people don't get screwed by friends , would even call to wish me merry Christmas two years in a row, yea right I'm the same person how about you han

Let me tell you something Han when you took my money on the very first day and breached because you didn't come back with my copys of papers all's I had to do was hide the truck until you gave my money back, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt and went forward, even with me confronting the siuation because you were a friend, 4800 dollers later you make accusations against me without the chance to defend myself, knowing you manuvered yourself into position where I have no record of anything you minipulated your way to possession of my truck and hid . Man up and stop hiding the real you surfaced answer the lawsuit
