the car is accelerated the brake warning light shows up and also periodically as I'm driving at normal speeds 3 or 4 other warning lights come up on the dash.we were told by a Nissan mechanic that the parts for fixing this is like $3000 from the dealership, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

brake fluid level below the max will cause the break light under acceleration symptom. Happened to myself and others on this forum.

The "other lights" don't really tell us much...What lights? My long shot guess would be the ABS/4WAS/SLIP which are often related to the actuator of the 4 way steering which is expensive to replace.

+1000

Brake fluid is low.

I test drove a "fully inspected" ,M37 (from an Acura dealer) that had the same issue.

I popped the hood and saw the brake fluid level was low.

I decided to walk away from the car since the dealer apparently likes to lie about vehicle condition.

I bought an M37 from an Infiniti dealer with a CPO warranty.

I suppose the moral of the story is...get a pre purchase inspection or buy a CPO from Infiniti.

That doesn't mean much. When there is a fault in the ABS, 4WAS, traction control, wheel speed sensor etc, it disables all systems.

Again, what did the dealer say the diagnosis was? Those lights could be hundreds of different codes.....

I haven't taken it to the dealer yet, I was hoping I could get more information here before I went.

Sorry but you are not making any sense. You said the light came on and a Nissan mechanic said it would cost $3000......yet the car has not been diagnosed.

The light is there for a reason. It is to tell you a fault has been detected. You need to get the computer scanned and find out what the fault codes are. You can't get the car diagnosed over the internet as there are hundreds of codes that can cause the lights to come on. Most autoparts can scan a check engine light, but few have the tool to scan ABS, SRS, etc.

Most likely you need to get it in the shop and get it diagnosed and go from there. Don't expect a free diagnosis either. Mechanics are paid by the job. They are not on the clock. Most shops will charge you to diagnose the car but credit the charge towards your repair.
