Ok, I just got mine about a half hour ago and they don't work. The CA is a 1.5 thread pitch and these are closer to a 2. He said that he'd sent some off to europe and they worked fine, so maybe it's different for the UK spec heads? But he did agree and say that the SR Mainstud kit is what they use on the RB head, so once again, the CA has another similarity with it's infamous cousin the RB....

I talked to Lenny there and he was very amicable about the whole thing and just said to send him those back and he'd send me out the SR studs. I hope all of this works out ok....

I always do. They don't answer emails in a very timely manner. They're decent about answering the phone. You may have to call a couple of times in a row though...

Thats what he made it sound like. The transactions not complete yet, so I don't know for use, but the way I look at it, they advertised a product that would work for the CA head, and if they have to send me something else so that it will work as advertised, then that has nothing to do with me.

I guess the seller didnt get the point that his "CA" studs dont fit. Another auction is up on ebay.

i shipped mine out to him on Friday. He said he'll send out the correct studs... as a precaution, i went to the dealership and got some head bolts anyways. incase anyone was wondering, head bolts are ~$3.30 (~$33.00 for all 10) from Nissan.

So do I. All I still need are these stupid head studs and the headgasket. I've got to get a headgasket from Japan though. Damn bastards...

i would like to know how the hell you got them from the dealer. mine had me waiting for 2 months and they only had 3 when i cancelled my order. my nissan dealer blows.

why do you have to get a head gasket from japan? dee can hook you up easily enough. i also have some web sites that can get you a greddy, hks, jun, tomei, etc. head gasket for a little more money. though they are all in australia, they manage to ship stuff to your door in about a week. you could also have someone make you one.. look in the yellow pages for race shops in your area.

I shipped mine back today, came home and emailed them and had a response minutes later. He said they'd exchange for the SR kit no problem, crossing fingers they ship faster w/o hurricanes mucking with the state, at least I don't need the studs until I'm about to put the head on the block

Prob a Trust one if I can get it. It's the cheapest. All I really need is a MLS gasket in a 2mm thickness with a 1mm overbore. I don't care who or where it comes from...

Well, they finally got it right this time. Check it out. The XXX where it says "Part # ARPXXX-5402" stands for 202, which means that they are using the ARP Part# of 202-5402 which is the part number for the SR20DET Main Stud Kit. Niconauts hard work is paying off right there!
