A couple of things I noticed...when a door isn't closed all the way, there is no warning sound? Only a small light on the "computer" screen? Also, I didn't notice a warning chime when your fuel level is low. Just more flashing.

Is this something that can be adjusted?

Not sure, but man I wonder why in the heck you'd want to change it??!!

This is one of the things that I like about the Rogue - it's lack of annoying chimes! I've driven lots of vehicles in the past that do nothing but beap and chime at you and it's so damn annoying, so appreciate the quietness of my Rogue. But everybody is different......

I guess its personal pref. My last vehicle did have a bell for everything..

I would think there would at least be one for a door being not closed all the way. I kind of the like the seatbelt one because it was a great excuse to make other people put their seatbelts on if they didn't want to.

I believe that's the way it's supposed to be. I don't have any of those warning chimes either. And I agree with Kerrton 100%. The less annoying chimes there are the better

If you don't close the door tightly and go to lock the door with the remote, your horn (assuming you don't have this feature disabled) won't sound which is a good indication that you need to do close it again.

I personally find all the bells to be annoying, but one thing that is good is that if you leave your headlights on, there is a constant beep.

I find the Rogue has just the right amount of 'sound' warnings. Too much is annoying for me

That's me. On my last vehicle which was scion tc it was extremely annoying and could beep for the seat belt for about 5 minutes. But thanks to toyota forum just like this one where people discussed that and found a simple way to bypass it. I shut if off and it was never beeped again....not even once.

Are you old enough to remember when you could listen to the radio with the car door open and not have that friggin 'key in ignition' chime . Soooo very irritating. It's been so many years ago that you could do that.

Actually, my parents had one of the first Maxima's that came out.

"Parking brake is ON."

"Left door open."

Oh No! The talking car - I am so glad that did not last long and that I never had one.

I actually find the alarm indicator for the 'parking brake on'. I've had it save my breaks a few times.
