How long do you let the car warm up during a cold start before you leave to go somewhere???

to normal operating temp. It varies as to how warm the car still is and how cold it is outside.

I would think it wouldn't take more than about 5 to 10 minutes, but it depends on how cold it is outside. Check your temp gauge after 5 minutes or so and it will probably be warmed up. Don't forget to let the engine cool down after spirited driving also, unless you have a turbo timer so the turbo cools with appropriate oil cooling. I would think this is even more important in cold weather since it would cool that much faster.

You don't need to let it warm up before driving. Just fire it up and take it easy on the car until it's at normal operating temp.

Just sitting there it'll take at least 10+ minutes to hit operating temp, if it even does. While driving my car is up to operating temp within about a minute or so.

I live in Socal, so temps are pretty nice, but usually I let the car idle for 3-4min. I just wait till the needle moves, then I am off!
