i imported a 05 coupe last september from the states (i live in canada). i took in my car to service the clicking noise that comes from the rear axle under stress - which i've learned can be fixed by retorquing... which i've also learned was covered under warranty (from this forum).... but the service manager told me the service required to fix the axle issue is not covered under waranty for cars with more than 20000km, is this true?. my car currently has approx 22000 miles - 35000km. i didn't make the appointment for the service yet, i wanted to discuss this issue on NICO first... to check if he's pullin my leg

oh.. and another question for other importers... i was told that i need some kinda letter from Infiniti USA in order for my car to receive waranty work in canada, do you know what this paper is called? or what kind of information needs to be on this paper?? G-Whizz, i remember reading in soem post that you imported your car?? did you... or anyone had to go through any of this process??

thanks in advance for your inputs!!

I think that's BS. They just try to snowball you. I would try another infiniti maybe they would do it. Also we have service technician working @ infiniti. He probably can tell you if it is BS or not. To me it is.
