Could someone tell me where these guys are, or what happened to them? I keep running across their insanely built RB20DET, but have not been able to find any specs (what parts etc) on it.

THEY ARE AN AUSSIE COMPANY. THEY USED TO RUN THE CIRCUITS DOWN THERE BUT I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ON THEM RECENTLY.

That's the problem, I found out who they were and what they made (something around 480hp with loads of boost and high redline), but I can't find out what's in the motor. The website doesn't work either. These high hp 20's seem to be kept a secret. WD hasn't told us what was in his (found out about the turbo by accident), and I can't find anything on this one.

I'm not mad or anything (wanted to make sure WD knows if he reads this), but I'd really rather build a 20 instead of a 25.

t04e(i believe) alky injection, non turbo cams. Somehow i remember reading that somewhere. I'll check and make sure I'm right

"For the money I'd probably take the RB20. I had mine pushing 450 on a daily basis with all stock internals. I lowered my CR though. I couldn't get the stock pistons to hold over 28 psi. I also needed larger cams. I had swapped in the cams from the DE version since you pick up 8 degree's duration. But I needed atleast 256 cams to take advantage of the larger turbo and higher revs.

With a set of cams and forged pistons I would have been over 500whp.

the gisbon mtor sport rb20 was based on the gtsr motor wild cams and build forged every thing very large t3 possibly t4.I would go 440 cc injecotrs andbig cams etc but I still reckon the rb 25 is the better base to start from for that much power.meggala

btw the description of wd's motor was correct
