Wants to stall at low RPM!!!!

Hey,

Ok I have a 89 240 coupe, stock KA24E motor. I have had problems since I got it, but still love it. At low RPM's the car will shutter and stall sometimes. It did once and would not start back up, plugs were fouled I think. Anyway, this only happens with the CEL is on. When it is off a rare 5% of the time, it runs FINE. When it is on, going down the road, if I get at a fast speed, it shuts off, like the car stays running, but if I push the gas nothing happens until it slows down. It will also redline at 5k or so, but not even a rev limiter, just shuts off same as when driving. Sometimes the CEL is on and at 5k it wont go past it, but makes the rev limiter sound. I have cleaned all my sensors. I have new spark plugs. Any ideas? Does my ECU have codes? If so, how do I take it out. I tried and I dont get it. Could it be my MAF sensor? Help! Thanks!
