Ita gonna be a lil more than that and even more if you want to go bigger top reach your goal of 550HP.I'd start with injectors, power FC, Front mount I/C, Fuel pump and pressure regulator. Get a intake manifold, cams, port the head and a big GT42R turbo up the boost and youre at about 550. Thats about my goal too... oh yeah upgrade the head gasket an get ARP head studs.

not trying to hate on you guys or anything... but have you ever driven a 550hp 240...? lol i just think thats unecessary for street 240s, i can understand it in a heavy supra but 240's are light, i think 350-450 is more than enough for anyone on the street... but i guess its your car you can do as you please lol

Well come to Michigan sometime. I don't think anywhere else in the US there are faster cars. If you don't have a car pushing over 500Hp here youre slow. From last year alone to this year Ive seen 5 10 second cars turn into 9 second cars and 3 of them are doing 8's. This is just me alone I would imagine there are alot more breaking into single digits. This is the biggest Muscle car scene in the whole US. Imports are getting there though. We have alot of DSMs running 10's a couple of 9's, Supras and rx-7's like you wouldn't believe and no cheap performance shops. Lets just say Godspeed Racing builds Scooby block and ships them to Sweden because no one else in the world builds blocks like these guys do unless youre a Sponsored Rally team. Dan the owner is probably one of the best dyno tuners in the world. We don't have shops here that just sell stupid intakes, exhuast and body kits... we leave that to circuitcity. You pay for your plane trip up here you can stay at my place and you'll never want to leave after you see 8 second runs going down Telegraph Ave as they pass you with there front wheels 4 ft in the air. Too bad the weather sux or we'd be racing all year round'

Well i have a GReddy intake manifold. and a intercooler. Koyo radiator. eletric fan,a Mckinney downpipe, Megan test pipe, Tanabe exhaust, i paid for a port and polish job from Gude.com but something went wrong with the head and Mckinney had to stick a stock head on it to get me home, but i still have the ported head from Gude. I figured when i find out what went wrong with the ported head, i can either fix it or port the stock one and then get a boost controler and bigger fuel pump to get me by untill i can afford a stand alone system and bigger injectors. With the Ported head, boost controler and fuel regulator i figured i would be pushing some where around 310-320whp........but we'll see..........the head package alone is supposed to give me 40- 50.

I think if you're shooting for over 500 you need to seriously consider upgrading the pistons for longevity. As well as head studs and rod bolts.

You're looking at about 3-4k if you want that much power.

Look at precisionturbo.net, they have excellent turbochargers.

The downpipewill be a small part of modification compared to what you'll be doing to get that much power.

I remember hearing a while back that the RB25 can use a stroker kit from a GT-R, but I have no idea where to find such a kit so I couldnt tell you a price range lol. Im not even sure where you buy cams from....

there's no kit....just buy a rb26 crank, rods, and pistons, there you go. the cylinder bore is the same as the rb26.

so are all the torque specs etc the same in the rb25 and 26? I ask because the "FSM" that I have covers everything about the 26, but doesnt have anything about the 25's block. and I would like to rebuild.

Your not going to even be able to race anywhere unless you got big *** tires. Otherwise your gonna get whooped cause you cant get the tires to stick. But yeah if you got some stickies then it will be one BAD *** MOFO, that I would definately like to ride in
