Alright im looking to sorta replenish the look of my wheels...

I have a set of discontinued MSW by OZ wheels on the Q right now.. Theyre kinda beat up, but not real bad... I want to bring them back to new looking, or at least close

As you can see they're not terrible but theyre not particularly good either!

I read this thread and i think im going to try painting them..... Since I dont really want to change the color or anything, just make them look better, I saw this stuff

Let me know what you think about that, or any advice you have...

Those are MSW TYPE 55Cs if I recall.

I wish more mfgs would make wheels like this - as in undersated - everything now is so spastic/loud! These are much more in keeping with the Q.

Yeah thats right I think... Also made by OZ under the "monte carlo" or something else.....

Fairly classic design for OZ in the late 90s......

yeah...find a local wheel shop that has a machine and get a group buy going so that powdercoating the rims per piece will be a little cheaper. Or if they have a list of waiting customers just add yourself on.

Personally Id rather not pay the $50 per wheel... since this stuff is a paint, id rather risk the $10 in supplies and not have it turn out, and then powdercoat.....

I think im gonna try it, will post results!

I used the graphite color on my stock s14 wheels. I didn't do any prep work other than a good washing. I think the results turned out pretty good. Definitly get the clear coat though, and dont freak out when it hazes up on you. I did and stopped spraying because I thought i was ruining my paintjob, didnt get a good coat over all the wheels. But for not doing any prep work, the paint stayed on really well and looked good too. exuse the pic, i had to take it to sell them, and they were kinda dirty
