hey guys,

I know it's probably in here somewhere, but im horrible at searching for stuff on here. for those of you who have painted their grill how to do you remove it? Ive looked at it and am puzzled haha. I blacked out all my logos a while ago because of my black rims, and just have that graphite color and chrome outside on the front grille... I think im going to black out the whole front... so if you could give me some pics on how to remove it or instructions i would greatly appreciate it!!!

Its pretty easy to do, there are some snap clips that you can push down and through the holes. Its hard to explain but there are 2 on each side of the grille and one in the center thats a pain to remove. Once off, the chrome surround comes off with a bunch of little screws. I took off my chrome and painted it.

Having trouble with the clips. Do I squeeze and push? I tried with my fingers, no go. I'm scared to use pliers and break it... Is this the only way to change out my headlights? :(

Use a flat head screw driver to turn the clips 30 degrees or so to the point where the clips are square with the holes. When the square clip is in line with the square hole pull on the grill. Repeat for all three clips.

Chaning the entire headlight assembly itself? Or just chaning bulbs?

The whole headlight - yes; you have to remove that grill. Just bulbs - nah. Thats the way its outlined in Haynes/Chilton manuals, but in my opinion if you can maneuver your hands through the space in the engine bay its easier that way.

Remove the airbox and work from the rear of the headlight for the drivers side.
Remove the battery and work from the rear of the headlight for the passenger's side.

Removing the entire headlight assembly. I retrofitted Bi-xenon Infiniti FX projectors into another set of headlights.

Thank you!
