New versa owner, time to start making it my own. . . I'm wanting to start off small and slow on the mods. Also I don't want to spend a lot of money. anyone got some good ideas?

It all depends on what you lookin for? performance mods, or visual mods?

If you are more about visuals:

A simple tint job changes the way the car looks dramatically!

Sound wise: A new headunit and some low wattage aftermarket speakers make a HUGE difference!

For visual, Tint for sure! Also recomend lowering your V with a set of Eibach Pro-kits. The looks improve dramaticaly, and also you handling does too. A nice set of wheels are a must!

Second that one, I plan to get them in this order, Rims, tint, and lower it once the original tires give out.

I would agree as well. I've got a good tint, my Eibach springs (just need the time to put them on) and as soon as my tires get tired I'll be replacing them with some new rims.

haha or u could do some graphics...make sure the are vinyl tho...dont go cheap with the V. Get some racing seats. Or possibly some neon.

Also, a set of rims really shows people what u are about.

I dunno, might look a lill too tacky on a basicaly stock car. Serious visual mods should be backed up with some performance mods.

Then again, it's a Versa. There's really not too much room to back up. You could rice for sure... but back up? I agree racing seats and a roll bar may be a bit much... but covers, tint, and wheels? All can make a car look classy.

As for vinyl graphics... that's what the Camel has... I don't think I have to back anything up. It all depends on where you aim with your intent. Some classy lines or an integrated design along the side can look good w/o saying "i'm a cool race car" (or "i'm a ricer" depending on the graphics...)

Neon (or LED), can be fun without being fast and furious...
